Captions Mostly was founded in 2019 by Vinayak Kashyap – a former Facebook employee turned entrepreneur. After working at Facebook from 2016-2018, Vinayak left to pursue his passion for helping brands maximize their content potential.
While managing social campaigns for top-tier brands at Facebook, Vinayak observed first-hand how impactful small tweaks like optimized captions could be. He also saw the gap that existed for dedicated caption expertise in the market.
Combining his love of language with technical knowledge of platform algorithms, Vinayak launched Captions Mostly right here in Toronto, Canada for creators, businesses and agencies worldwide.
